Personal trainer for pregnant women
The woman's body changes at every stage, and your training plan should too. We're here to support you with a pregnancy training program that is fully adapted to your gestational period. Our training service is designed to maintain your fitness, get stronger for labor, and ensure a faster and safer postpartum recovery.
Train safely with a Personal Trainer Specialized in Pregnancy
We don't improvise with physical exercise during pregnancy. Each personal trainer at our training center works hand in hand with the medical team to tailor each session to your specific needs and individual requirements. Through strength training and guided physical activity, we take care of your pelvic floor, abdominal girdle, and posture.
The goal is clear: relieve common pregnancy discomforts such as back pain, control weight gain, and achieve a healthy pregnancy, both physically and mentally.
Benefits of training during pregnancy and post-partum
Many women resort solely to other disciplines, but the sports sciences support the benefits of strength training supervised by a professional:
- Prevention of back pain: Strength training strengthens the lumbar region to withstand the changes in the woman's body weight.
- Cardiovascular and metabolic work: Regular exercise helps to maintain a low risk of complications and improves overall health.
- Preparation for pregnancy and childbirth: We prepare your body with appropriate adaptations in each exercise to face the event of childbirth with greater resilience.
- Faster recovery after childbirth: Maintaining a good level of muscle strength greatly facilitates postnatal training for new mothers.

Frequently asked questions
In uncomplicated pregnancies, the main clinical guidelines recommend exercise actively: it is associated with less lumbar discomfort, better weight control and better postpartum recovery. What needs to be adapted is the intensity, the type of exercise and the position, and that is exactly what we do session by session.
You can start at any level. If you already trained before, we adapt what you were doing; if you start now, we build from scratch with a smooth progression. The only thing that changes from quarter to quarter is which exercises and positions are suitable.
Yes, by adapting the loads and exercises. Maintaining strength during pregnancy helps with back pain, posture, and post-workout recovery. What we remove are the prolonged supine exercises from the second trimester onwards, the high-impact exercises, and those that greatly increase intra-abdominal pressure.
It depends on the type of delivery and your recovery, and always after the medical discharge — usually around 6 weeks. We start with pelvic floor exercises, breathing, and deep core before moving on to more strenuous activities. Returning too soon to your pre-pregnancy routine is the most common mistake after childbirth.
We ask you to discuss this with your gynecologist or midwife before starting, and if there are any specific indications, we incorporate them into the plan. Our coach works in coordination with the medical team at the center, but your obstetric follow-up is always up to you.
